my quick thoughts on the market and why base is now a mature ecosystem
> yes, liquid funds did get knocked out of the market, this is why ive been saying high fdv altcoins will struggle to catch a bid and bullish onchain small cap productive assets
> industrialized sniping operations and tools on solana, the ingrained behavior is flip within 30s, tokens struggle to experience a sustained bid and 25-100m fdv is the valley of death for tokens
> high fdv altcoins are collapsing, eclipse and kadena make all of these companies look like a farce, base has institutional lindyness and trust
> potential base token would actually have large buyers outside of crypto, so this issue of who is the marginal buyer at a high fdv is less challenging for base
> consumer population on base has retained the capacity to believe in something
> noise around creator coins aside, jesse has been out here for more than a year now actively supporting teams and building base, that’s awesome
> bullish onchain szn in q4 and into q1
