we work with dflow on ultra to make sure that the best quote is presented for ultra users. and it’s great.
titan is the only one player that is engaging in what i call unethical and misleading advertising in the space. since early april, i told them to not use “Jupiter” on their website to mislead people to think that they are aggregating “Jupiter” when they are not. and, i don’t know how they get the quote but it’s definitely not Jupiter.
titan is the PvP player we are dealing with in the Solana space. i may be too naive to think that this is not a zero sum game for everyone.

Last week, we asked Titan to remove the DFlow router from their meta-aggregation due to suspected bias favoring their own quotes while marketing fair competition between quotes.
Specifically, if two quotes aren’t generated on the same state, the one that is generated on more recent state is more likely to compare favorably after re-simulation, an especially pronounced effect when considering routes that touch prop AMM contracts (a very high number of routes). Titan’s simulation system is part of their route generation system, and they have unfettered access to their own routing, while having rate limited access to every other router. Therefore it’s highly likely their own quotes are far fresher than other quotes.
This bias is totally acceptable if disclosed, but Titan markets its simulation system as a fair competition among routers. This misleads users into believing Titan’s marketed win-rate reflects equal comparison when it does not.
After raising the concern privately to the team and receiving no acknowledgment on the bias existing, and no way for us to verify fairness, we requested removal.
This marketing style is really bad form, and harmful to Solana users and wallet apps long-term that will end up leaking execution quality due to hidden bias.
