The Uniswap Foundation has launched a grant program for @brevis_zk. DEX aggregators (e.g., 1inch and Matcha) will be able to receive a total cashback of up to $9 million when they route user transactions through Uniswap v4 pools. With this announcement, Brevis is no longer just a ZK infrastructure provider; it also becomes a developer directly contributing to the Uniswap v4 ecosystem. We spend gas for every transaction. These costs are typically difficult to track. Brevis calculates this gas cost off-chain. It then generates a ZK proof proving the accuracy of this calculation. Routers (e.g., 1inch, Matcha, etc.) send this proof to the Uniswap chain and automatically receive the gas refund (rebate). Uniswap integration will likely be active in Season 2. Tasks will focus on testing or using the trustless gas rebate system. This is a significant step for both Brevis and the Uniswap ecosystem.
