Good morning to everyone except the person who jammed the HYPE orderbook on @Lighter_xyz to trigger a a cascade of liquidations. FYI: This tactic succeeded on @HyperliquidX with $XPL but failed on @Lighter_xyz. "Why is that?" Liquidations are linked to the oracle price, sourced from other exchanges. You can inflate the mark price to any value, but it won't trigger a cascade of liquidations. As a result, LLP profited significantly with its position exceeding $22M. The hacker kinda distributed the money to LLP holders and people who reacted quickly (i.e. shorted) within 5 minutes.

A runaway bot jammed through the HYPE book with size, there were no liquidations or other adverse effects beyond this. Low volume was traded at very high prices, leaving the wick in creates scaling issues for the chart so it was scrubbed from the front end.
