The @eigenlayer story reminds me of the Maple (now Syrup) story. 1. They built within a narrative that had a growing need - Asset Management for Syrup - Restaking and Security for EigenLayer 2. Dominated within their respective categories. - I've pointed out Syrup's insane TVL growth (10x in a year) - Eigen's growth to over $18B in restaked $ETH 3. Maintaining the lead despite increasing competition, which solidified the narrative. - Syrup competing against Spark, Morpho, etc. - Eigen surpassing Karak, and Symbiotic. 4. Token performance validating the success - $SYRUP 10x over the past year from $50M to $500M $EIGEN has yet to price their continued success within a growing space, dominance against competitors, and expansion across various verticals.
